Some people who live on our street haven't a clue. They built a 5 ft by 5ft cage made of wire and put their 2 dogs in it. I think it is inhumane because they have a perfectly good fenced in back yard for the dogs to run around in. Plus they bark all night and howl from being in that cage. Some of you may not believe this but there are actually NO animals laws where I live (yes it's in the U.S.!). Since we live outside of city limits we are goverened by county laws and our county has no pet laws. Pets can run freely or not. I have called the Sherriff and the local shelters to no avail. I wonder if some handy information by "mail" on humane animal treatment might do these people any good. Then again it may not do anything.

My parents are considering buying me a dog, (i bet they are) and my dad wants a basset hound, but i don't
i want an easy dog to take care of, and maybe with some reasons i can persuade him to get a dog easier to take care of.

HEY I MIGT BE GETTING A DOG, BUT MY PARENTS ARE A LITTLE HARD....Ive been perswaiding them, mom told me to do some reserch about the yearly amount for health care and just care...If anyone here has a dog 1st what kind, and 2nd whats the care price about.....

The mom dog put the runt seperate from the other pups and is taking care of it but every few seconds she runs and checks on the other pups. Is this normal?

I am planning on becoming a dog trainer/groomer. I want to own a business in doggy day care, as well as a grooming saloon. Is this a good idea to major in these things and put them together? Im also taking managment...and also...would it benifit me to have a day care right next to an animal hospital?

two days ago, our dog gave birth to 5 cute puppies, as i have observed, the puppies are always sleeping and not taking or sucking milk from their mom. i wonder if its normal or there must be a vaccine for them to survive all 5 of them. what must i do the traditional way if there is any, the breed of our dog is actually mixed and i dont know what kind it is. all i want is for them to be alive and kicking. thanks.

I am looking for a doggie day care facility located in one of the following places: Tacoma, Seattle, Monroe, Snohomish, Everett, Lynwood. I want somewhere to take my dogs while I'm at work where they can run around and socialize with other dogs. And I need flexible hours. Thank you.
